The Santa Clause

The Santa Clause (1994, Disney) is a five star movie. Tim Allen's character, Scott Calvin, has to take on the job of Santa when the original Santa falls off the roof and dies. Scott Calvin begins to look like Santa when he gets fat and grows a beard.
He tells his son Charlie that he has to keep everything secret.People become upset with him but the movie has a happy ending. The special effects were funny especially the flying reindeer. The soundtrack includes music from The Drifters. All in all, a great family Christmas movie.

Christmas Vacation

Christmas Vacation (1989, WB) is a must see. I give it a five star rating.
The funniest scene is when Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) falls off the roof and is hanging from it and an icicle breaks the neighbors' window and hits their stereo system. The stereo shorts out and the electricity is buzzing. Ellen Griswold (Beverly D'Angelo) calls Clark for dinner and Clark is in the bushes wrapped up in Christmas lights. Director John Hughes also directed Home Alone and Dennis the Menace

Jingle All the Way Review

Jingle All The Way,( 1996, 20th Century Fox), is an exciting movie because it has Arnold Schwarzenegger starring as a determined dad desperate to find a Turbo Man, the hottest Christmas toy of the season. Arnold's character, Howard Langston, outwits other shoppers especially Sinbad's character, Myron Larabee in his search for the toy. At the end of the movie, Howard is forced to dress up as a Turbo Man rather than go home on Christmas Eve empty handed. In a post credits scene, Howard's wife says, "Makes me wonder, what did you get me?". Howard is worried. Watch this movie because it is funnier than Mrs. Doubtfire and The Flintstones and it has a great Christmas soundtrack.
